Here’s what it does:

Calculates temperature drop as the gas loses heat to the soil.

Calculates pressure loss due to flow friction.

It simultaneously solves for: Pressure, Temperature, Gas Density and Compressibility factor (Z), all as a function of distance along the pipeline.
