Pipeline Temperature Decay Calculator

Here’s what it does:

  • Calculates temperature drop as the gas loses heat to the soil.

  • Calculates pressure loss due to flow friction.

  • It simultaneously solves for: Pressure, Temperature, Gas Density and Compressibility factor (Z), all as a function of distance along the pipeline.

This creates a realistic model, rather than just interpolating or assuming static conditions, resulting in an accurate profile of how pressure and temperature change with distance along a pipeline.
